A month ago, Prague was awarded by the readers of Time Out Magazine as the most beautiful city in the world. For those of us, who are lucky to have Prague as their hometown, it was no surprise. Prague is simply stunning. It is a perfect combination of historical buildings and monuments, narrow cosy medieval streets, breath-taking gardens and a genius loci atmosphere. Known for its nicknames “The Heart Of Europe”, “The City of One Hundred Spires”, “The Golden City” and “the Mother of Cities”, Prague will simply take your breath away. But Czech capital is not only excellent as a destination for leisure travels. Our capital is also suitable for all kind of events. With its strategic position, variable venues, international hotels and superb services, Prague is the ideal destination for incentive travels, conferences, congresses, summits and, of course, weddings.

Why you should choose Prague for your next event:
- Prague is an all-year-round destination. No matter if you plan to run your event in spring or winter time, Prague is always beautiful, there is no “off” season. The most magic time is Christmas, when Prague looks like a fairy-tale town of Cinderella. We have very mild winters, too, so you do not have to worry you’ll have to add snow shovelling to your teambuilding programme :-). My favorite season is definitely autumn. Summer is slowly over, everyone from event and hospitality departments is relaxed after vacation and ready for new challenges, the conference season is just about to start, the weather is perfect and nature performs its magic when the green colour on trees is turning into gorgeous scale of all autumn colour shades.
- Prague is in the heart of Europe. Since the 14th century, Prague has been an important crossroad for international travels and routes. Nowadays, thanks to the very modern Václav Havel airport, Prague became easily accessible from all over of the world. If you are planning an international conference or incentive travel, you can be sure that there will be plenty of daily flights which would bring your guests to Prague smoothly and comfortably. The Czech Republic has also great railway system which connects our capital with Europe´s major cities.
- History meets the modern. Over hundreds years of existence together with its rich history, Prague has grown into the political, cultural and economic center of Central Europe. Prague is especially known for historical monuments like the Charles Bridge, Prague Castle or Old Town Square with famous Astronomical Clock, but once you walk around the city, you can also see the most modern architecture and experience newest trends.
- Value for money. Since we are not on Euro yet and we have kept our Czech crown as the official currency, our costs for services are considerably lower than in other countries. Simply put, you will get the same level of excellent services for less money.
- Prague has venues for all kind of events – there is always a suitable venue for your event! It doesn’t matter if you plan to have conference for thousand of guests or small luxury incentive group, there is always a great list of venues in which to host your meetings or gala dinners.
- Accommodation. Prague can offer all types of accommodation for your guests. We have amazing 5* hotels like the Augustine hotel, which belongs to The Luxury Collection Group, the Four Seasons or the Mandarin Oriental. For conferences, there are plenty of hotels which can accommodate large number of attendees, for example, the city´s largest hotel, the Hilton has over 790 newly renovated rooms, and another conference hotel, the Marriott Hotel, can offer more than 350 rooms. The most romantic hotels are located in Lesser Town between the Charles Bridge, Kampa Island and part of the city called Hradčany.
- In spite of being home to more than 1. 3million people, Prague is walkable, small city. Therefore it is perfect for conferences with a limited amount of leisure time. In a relatively short amount of time, you can see and experience many sightseeing highlights and monuments. On the other hand, Prague is suitable for typical three-to-four-day incentive travel, where the programme and the city’s main highlights could be split over more days.
- Lot of parks and green places – did you know that Prague ranks as one of the world’s greenest cities? An unbelievable 56 percent of our capital is covered by trees or grass, putting it in Europe’s top 10.
- Beer – who doesn’t know Czech beer? We are known in the world for our beer-loving culture and there is no doubt that we remain world’s biggest beer drinkers :-). Pilsen city, the birthplace of our famous beer, is only an hour away from Prague. If you don’t have time to drive outside the city, you can visit one of hundreds of microbreweries which brew their own beer just in the middle of historical center of Prague.
- People – last, but not least, people in Prague (and the whole of the Czech Republic) will help you to make your event spectacular and unforgettable. Everyone in event & hospitality indrustry is hardworking and detail-orientated, and many people are fluent in more than two foreign languages and go the extra mile to not let you down and to help you to make your event perfect.
